Persuasive technology is designed to alter human thoughts and behaviors; there is a psychology behind social media. This mother fought for her daughter in a way no parent ever wants to have to. She candidly relays her own personal experience and supplies data to back up the reality of what is going on with our youth. She also provides tools for parents to avoid the trap for their own children and is honest about where she could have done better. I have given my copy to my husband and ordered one for our head of school and another for a therapist.
